How is sugaring different from waxing?
Sugar paste is massaged onto the skin by hand at luke-warm temperature against the natural direction of hair growth. With a flicking motion, the hair is gently removed in the natural direction of the hair growth.
Waxing is applied using a spatula in the natural direction of hair growth, a strip is applied to the wax and it is then removed against the natural direction of hair growth.
How often should I sugar?
About every 3 - 4 weeks. Sugaring allows for us to remove hairs as short as 1/16 of an inch or four to seven days growth. Your first three sugaring sessions are the most important.
